Harloff Automotive was started in the early 1960’s by Willy Harloff in a quonset hut where Cost Co now resides on Fletcher Parkway. He then moved the business to its current location next to Helix High School on University Avenue in 1969.

Harloff was european factory trained and established a reputation for high quality work and the retention of generations of customers.

Harloff is one of the oldest auto repair businesses in La Mesa. We still operate by Willy's high standards. Our motto is "We work on cars, but mainly we work for people." We are approved by the AAA Club of Southern California and we have a customer approval rating of 99%. This number is calculated by a random survey of 300 completed repairs by AAA annually.
